Experimental Study on Neutral Salt Spray Accelerated Corrosion of Metal Protective Coatings for Power-Transmission and Transformation Equipment

At present, the common protection technology of power-transmission and transformation equipment is mainly coating hot-dip zinc protection. However, due to low adhesion epoxy zinc-rich coating, poor compatibility with top paint, environmental pollution, complex processing, high energy consumption other defects process, its development limited. In view above deficiencies, new anti-corrosion materials processes were investigated in this study. Zinc coatings Al-Zn prepared on C45 steel matrix by hot-spraying cold-spraying processes. The macro appearance, micromorphology phase composition analysis evaluated. substrate after salt-spray test was tested. results showed that hot dip spray had obvious cracking test. surface structure cold-sprayed relatively dense critical load higher than two coatings. corrosion resistance salt demonstrated be better thus has great application prospects.
